What Microsoft ecosystem consulting covers
Aranv provides Microsoft consulting services for small and midsize US businesses that already pay for Microsoft: we start from what you license, then connect Microsoft 365, Teams, Power Platform, Power BI, Azure and your .NET applications, and add Copilot Studio or Azure OpenAI where AI helps.
One team works across products that often sit with separate vendors. Each area has its own page: Azure development, .NET development and ASP.NET development for applications, Power BI consulting for reporting, and low-code development for apps on Power Platform.
For AI we pick the lightest option that does the job. Copilot Studio development suits agents your staff can adjust. Azure OpenAI development suits features inside your own software. A Microsoft Teams bot puts either one where people already work.
Starting from what you already license
From paid for to put to use
- 01 List what you pay for Plans, Azure subscriptions and custom apps go on one sheet.
- 02 Find the workarounds We trace where staff retype data or avoid a tool they have.
- 03 Connect the parts Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, Azure and your apps start sharing data.
- 04 Add AI last Copilot Studio or Azure OpenAI goes in once permissions are sorted.
Aranv is an independent company that works with Microsoft products.
What changes in your Microsoft setup
You pay for Microsoft 365, some Azure and a few Power BI seats. Data still travels by email attachment, and nobody can say which licenses get used.
-

One sheet of licenses
Every Microsoft plan you pay for, who uses it and what it includes, on one page before anyone buys another seat.
-

Power Platform consulting
Approvals and forms built with Power Apps and Power Automate, using the rights your plan includes where they fit.
-

Approvals inside a Teams chat
Requests and alerts from your other systems arrive in Teams, where staff already talk, so one job no longer means four tabs.
-

Answers from your SharePoint files
A Copilot Studio agent answers from SharePoint and surfaces only what the signed-in person has permission to open.
Microsoft 365 consulting for everyday work
You get mail, files and calendars that work with your other systems. We tidy SharePoint permissions and update old connections. Custom apps that still use Exchange Web Services move to Microsoft Graph, planned around Microsoft’s published dates.
What we do
- SharePoint sites and permissions cleanup
- Exchange Web Services code moved to Graph
- Retired SharePoint Add-ins replaced
- Plans for gaps Graph will not fill
Azure, .NET and your custom applications
You keep the application your business depends on. We host it on Azure, upgrade the .NET code behind it and open it through APIs, so Power BI reports and Teams alerts can read from it.
What we do
- Azure hosting and cost review
- .NET and ASP.NET upgrades
- SQL Server data in Power BI
- Entra ID sign-in for custom apps
How we approach a project
Licensing shapes every design. Microsoft’s licensing overview says the Power Apps and Power Automate rights inside some Microsoft 365 plans are limited, so we read your plan first. Your Microsoft account representative or licensing partner has the final word on terms.

How we work
- Start from what you already license
- Connect existing tools before adding more
- Permissions reviewed before any AI
-
Inventory with your IT lead
We go through subscriptions, seats, Azure resources and the custom apps tied to them.
-
Rank the fixes
Each gap gets a note on effort, license impact and who benefits, and you choose the order.
-
One connection at a time
A single workflow goes live and gets used before the next one starts.
-
Train and document
Your admins receive permission maps and runbooks, then run it themselves or keep us on.
Why Aranv for Microsoft work
Your invoice comes first
Recommendations start from the plans you already pay for, so you see what is covered before anything new.
Admins and developers together
People who configure Power Platform work beside developers who write .NET and Azure code, so cross-product problems stay with one team.
Permissions come before AI
We review who can open what in SharePoint and Teams first, because AI answers can expose loose access.
Your admins stay in charge
The work runs in your own tenant and subscriptions, with access your administrators can see and remove when a job ends.

Microsoft Consulting Services FAQs
-
Is Aranv part of Microsoft?
No. Aranv is an independent software company that works with Microsoft products. Microsoft does not endorse us, and this page claims no partner status or certification. Microsoft and its product names are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation.
-
We already pay for Microsoft 365. What can we do without buying more?
Often quite a lot, depending on your plan. Some licenses cover simple approvals and forms on Microsoft 365 data and standard connectors, though premium licenses carry more rights. We show what yours includes first.
-
Should we start with Copilot Studio or Azure OpenAI?
Start with Copilot Studio when staff need an agent over documents they already use. Choose Azure OpenAI when the AI feature belongs inside your own application. Either way, check who can open what in SharePoint first.
-
Can you work alongside our current IT provider?
Yes. We take on application and integration work while your provider keeps running devices, accounts and the help desk. We agree who holds admin access before anything changes.
-
We also use non-Microsoft systems. Can you still help?
Yes. Microsoft 365 often sits beside an ERP, a CRM or another cloud. We connect them through APIs and Microsoft Graph, which reaches services such as Outlook, SharePoint and Teams.
