React Native App Development Services

One codebase, two app stores

What a React Native project includes

Aranv builds React Native apps for small and midsize businesses: one codebase for iOS and Android, with native performance, device features and connections to the systems you already run.

React Native lets one team build iOS and Android apps from a single JavaScript or TypeScript codebase while the app still uses native interface components. Since version 0.76, its New Architecture is on by default, giving apps direct access to native code without the old bridge.

A typical scope covers user journeys and screen design, the app itself, sign-in and permissions, push notifications, offline storage where needed, and connections to your APIs, CRM, ERP or store. We use Expo where it fits, which simplifies builds, device testing and over-the-air updates.

How a React Native release ships

One codebase, two app stores

  1. 01 Shared code Screens, logic and data access are written once in React Native.
  2. 02 Native where it matters Camera, payments, maps and notifications use native modules.
  3. 03 Tested on real devices Each build is checked on iPhone and Android phones before release.
  4. 04 Updates without waiting Small JavaScript fixes can ship over the air; larger changes go through app store review.

Platform-specific features are identified before the build starts.

What we build with React Native

React Native suits apps where most screens and logic are shared across iOS and Android, and where both versions should be released together.

  • Customer apps

Ordering, booking, account and loyalty apps connected to your website, store or CRM.

  • Field and staff apps

Apps for inspections, deliveries and service visits, with offline mode and photo capture.

  • Mobile versions of a web product

Apps that share logic and design with an existing React web application.

  • AI features in the app

Smart search, document capture and assistants connected to your data, with clear permissions.

How we approach a project

Some features need platform-specific native code, such as advanced Bluetooth or long-running background tasks. We identify these during discovery, so the estimate reflects them from the start.

For an existing app, start with its React Native version, dependencies and crash reports. Upgrading in stages is often possible; we review the code before recommending an upgrade or a rebuild.

See mobile app development for native iOS and Android options, React development when the app has a web version, and Node.js development for the back end.

Our Process

  • Discovery

Agree the users, key journeys, device features, integrations and release dates.

  • Design and prototype

Wireframes or clickable screens for the main journeys, reviewed with your team before development.

  • Build in short iterations

Regular demos, code reviews and automated tests, so you see progress early and can adjust priorities.

  • Launch and support

A careful release, monitoring, updates for new platform versions and new features as your needs change.

React Native FAQs

  • Is React Native a good choice for business apps?

For most of them, yes. It suits apps built around accounts, forms, lists, payments, maps and notifications. Apps that depend on heavy 3D graphics or unusual hardware may be better built natively.

  • Should we choose React Native or Flutter?

Both build iOS and Android apps from one codebase. React Native uses JavaScript or TypeScript and shares skills, and some code, with React on the web. If you already use React, React Native usually fits better.

  • Can we update the app without waiting for app store review?

Small JavaScript changes can be delivered as over-the-air updates, for example with Expo Updates, within the app stores’ rules. Changes to native code or permissions still go through review.

  • Can you take over an existing React Native app?

Yes. We start with a code and dependency review, then propose fixes, an upgrade plan, or a rebuild where the code cannot be saved.
