Vibe Coding Rescue: Finish the App Your AI Tools Started

Your app got far with Replit, Lovable, Cursor, Claude Code or Codex, and now it is stuck. We read what the AI built, fix what is broken, make it safe and finish it, so you get a working product.

Built with one of these?

  • Replit
  • Lovable
  • Bolt
  • v0
  • Cursor
  • Claude Code
  • Codex
  • Windsurf

We can pick up from here, whichever tool you used.

Does this sound familiar?

AI tools are very good at getting you to a first version. These are the moments when people usually call for help.

Every fix breaks something else

You ask the AI to fix one bug and two more appear. You have started to go in circles.

It works in preview, not live

The app runs inside the tool, but deploying it, connecting a domain or hosting it elsewhere keeps failing.

The hard parts will not connect

Logins, payments, email or the database work some of the time, or not at all.

You are afraid to touch it

Real users or customers depend on it now, and you cannot tell what a change might break.

Credits go faster than progress

You spend more on prompts every week, and the app does not get much closer to done.

No one can take it over

A developer looked at the code and said to start again, or you cannot explain how it works.

Tell us where you are stuck

A few quick answers are enough. There is no need for technical words, and it is fine if you do not know what is wrong.

  • We read your answers and look at what you can share.
  • We reply by email with what we think is going on.
  • If it makes sense, we agree a next step together.

How we fix a vibe-coded app

    1. We read what you have. We go through the code, the database and how it is hosted, then tell you plainly what is worth keeping. Starting over is rarely the first answer.
    2. We make it safe. We clean up the AI-generated code, fix what is breaking, close security gaps, protect your data and add tests, so one change stops breaking everything else.
    3. We finish it. Logins, payments, integrations, hosting and the features still missing, built properly and launched on your own domain.
    4. We hand it back. You get an app you can explain, code in your own account, and notes that let you or any developer carry on, with AI tools if you like.

Where each tool tends to get stuck

All of these are good tools. Each one takes you a long way, then hands you a different kind of problem.

    Replit

Runs well inside the workspace, then needs its own hosting, a real domain, a production database or background jobs.

    Lovable

Screens look finished, while the rules behind them, such as who can see which data, still need real work.

    Bolt

A fast first version grows past the point where prompts can change it safely.

    v0

The interface is ready, but accounts, data and payments still have to be connected and tested.

    Cursor

Large edits touch many files at once, and it gets hard to see what changed or why something stopped working.

    Windsurf

The agent moves quickly across the project, so small mistakes can spread before anyone notices.

    Claude Code

It can change a lot very quickly. Without tests and review, problems build up where you cannot see them.

    Codex

Tasks finish in the background and look complete, but someone still has to check they work together.

    ChatGPT

Code pasted from a chat works on its own, but the pieces do not fit together as the project grows.

Product names and logos belong to their owners. Aranv is not affiliated with these companies.

    Why this keeps happening

The term "vibe coding" comes from a February 2025 post by Andrej Karpathy, and Collins Dictionary named it Word of the Year for 2025. It lets people without a programming background build real software, which is genuinely useful. The trouble comes later, for three reasons:

    Nothing checks the work

Most AI-built apps have few or no tests, so nothing warns you when a new change breaks an old feature.

    The AI loses the thread

As a project grows, the tool can no longer hold all of it in mind, so it repeats mistakes or undoes earlier work.

    Demos hide real risks

A demo has one user and no attackers. Real customers bring private data, payments and failures the demo never met.

    Vibe coding rescue FAQs

    What is vibe coding?

Building software by describing what you want to an AI tool in plain language, and letting it write the code. The term comes from a February 2025 post by Andrej Karpathy.

Do I have to start over?

Usually not. We first look at what you have and keep what works. If part of it is not worth saving, we explain why before anything is rebuilt.

My Replit or Lovable app is not working. Can you help?

Yes. We work with projects from Replit, Lovable, Bolt, v0, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, Codex and code written with chat tools. If you can share the code, we can read it.

Can I hire a developer to fix AI-generated code?

Yes, that is what this service is. Our developers read the code your AI tool wrote, clean it up, fix what is broken and add tests, so the app is safe to run and to change.

Is a vibe-coded app safe to launch?

It depends on what it does, but it should be checked first, especially if it handles logins, payments or private data. In Veracode's 2026 test, AI-generated code passed security checks 56 percent of the time on average.

I am not technical. Is that a problem?

No. Most people who come to us are not developers. We explain everything in plain language and tell you what matters and what does not.

Can I keep using AI tools afterward?

Yes. We leave the project in a state where you can keep building with AI tools, with tests and notes that make those changes much safer.

What do you need from me to start?

A short description of what the app does and where it is stuck, and access to the code when you are ready to share it. Please do not email passwords or API keys.

You got further than most people ever do.

Now let us help you finish it. Tell us what you built and where it is stuck.
