What ASP.NET development services include

Aranv provides ASP.NET development services for US businesses: new web applications and APIs on ASP.NET Core, staged migration of older Web Forms, MVC and Web API applications off .NET Framework, Azure hosting, and AI features added to the screens your staff already use.

This page covers web applications and APIs. For C# work beyond the web layer, see .NET development. Hosting sits with Azure development, and partner connections with API integration.

Not every version follows one calendar. ASP.NET Core follows the .NET table, while Web Forms ships with .NET Framework under its own policy. Microsoft’s ASP.NET support page sets April 13, 2027 as the end of support for ASP.NET Core 2.3 and no longer recommends it for migration, so we do not plan moves through it.

Moving an old ASP.NET app while it stays live

Route by route, not all at once

  1. 01 Read the old application Web Forms pages, session use and packages go in a plain report.
  2. 02 Put ASP.NET Core in front A new app passes unmoved routes to the old one.
  3. 03 Move one group of routes Each group gets tested in staging, then takes live traffic.
  4. 04 Retire the old server When nothing routes to .NET Framework, the old app can go.

A new build skips to ASP.NET Core from the first day.

What your staff and customers get

Your order system was written on ASP.NET years ago. It still works. But the developer has moved on, and small changes take too long.

  • Customer portal in Blazor: man working on computers coding

    Customer portal in Blazor

Customers sign in, check orders and download invoices on interactive C# screens, the option Microsoft recommends for new UI projects.

  • Order entry in Razor Pages: programming code on laptop screen

Back-office forms rendered on the server, quick to change and simple to test, or MVC where your developers already know it.

  • Stock feed for trading partners: developer working on code in a modern office

Minimal API endpoints give your mobile app and partners live orders and stock, with authorization rules on each route.

  • Draft replies inside your app: a man using computer office

A support agent clicks once for a draft reply or record summary from your SQL Server data, then edits it.

ASP.NET Core development for new applications: programming of codes

ASP.NET Core development for new applications

You get screens and APIs chosen for the job. Blazor suits interactive screens, Razor Pages suits plain forms, and minimal APIs suit new endpoints. Data runs through Entity Framework Core to SQL Server, with sign-in on ASP.NET Core Identity or Microsoft Entra ID.

What we do

  • Blazor, Razor Pages or MVC screens
  • Minimal APIs, or controllers where needed
  • SQL Server schema and indexing
  • Hosting on Azure App Service

ASP.NET migration in stages, off .NET Framework

You keep working while the system changes underneath. Microsoft calls a full rewrite of most production apps difficult and risky. We put ASP.NET Core in front with YARP as the proxy, share sign-in through System.Web adapters where needed, and rebuild Web Forms pages as Blazor components in groups.

What we do

  • Inventory of Web Forms, MVC, Web API
  • System.Web dependencies mapped
  • Sign-in and session shared during move
  • Libraries upgraded in dependency order

How we approach a project

When the problem is bigger than the framework, legacy application modernization looks at the whole system. If ASP.NET is one piece of a wider Microsoft setup, start with Microsoft consulting. Otherwise, the contact page is where to schedule a 30-minute conversation about your system.

How we work

  • Your application stays live throughout
  • Sign-in planned before any screen moves
  • No migration unless it solves something

How an ASP.NET project runs

  • Step 1: Code and hosting review

    Code and hosting review

We read the solution and server setup, then say which routes to move, rebuild or leave.

  • Step 2: Settle the shared pieces

    Settle the shared pieces

Sign-in, session state and logging get a plan that works for old and new together.

  • Step 3: Deliver in small groups

    Deliver in small groups

A few screens or endpoints go live at a time, with database changes reviewed in staging.

  • Step 4: Hand over the system

Your team receives the repository and deployment notes, and we can stay on for support.

Why Aranv for ASP.NET

We read the code first

Before estimating, we go through Web Forms pages, session handling and packages, so the plan reflects your application.

Your customers keep working

Old and new run side by side during a staged move, while routes cross over in small groups.

Database changes you can review

Schema changes go through Entity Framework Core migrations tested in staging, so your administrator can read each one first.

A clean handover

Your team gets the repository, deployment steps and notes. Ownership is written into our contract before work starts.

ASP.NET Development Services FAQs

  • Will our app stop working when .NET 8 support ends?

No. It keeps running, but Microsoft’s patches stop. Its support table lists November 10, 2026 for .NET 8 and .NET 9. We check which version each application targets and plan the upgrade.

  • Do we have to migrate our Web Forms application?

Not always. Microsoft’s own guidance says a working Web Forms app often has no need to move. We recommend it when you need something the old platform cannot give you, such as Linux hosting.

  • Should we rewrite the whole application for ASP.NET Core?

Usually not. For larger production apps, Microsoft prefers incremental migration, where a new ASP.NET Core app sits in front of the old one and takes over routes gradually. In-place migration can suit small applications with few dependencies.

  • Should we use Blazor or React with ASP.NET Core?

Use Blazor if your developers work in C# and want one language across the stack. Use React, Angular or Vue if you already have a JavaScript team or code to keep. ASP.NET Core works with all of them.

  • Can we hire ASP.NET developers to join our team?

Yes. Besides project work, our dedicated development team arrangement gives you developers and QA for your product alone, working to your priorities, with Aranv handling the management.
